Common questions
-
How long is the early adopter rate available?
The early adopter rate is available to the first 100 employers on EHS®. Once that threshold is reached it closes permanently - no exceptions. If it's visible on this page, places are still available.
-
What counts as an employee for billing?
Billing is based on active users on your account at the point of payment. Your plan includes a 10% tolerance buffer, small headcount changes within that range trigger no action or charge.
-
What happens when my free trial ends?
Check-ins pause, but you keep full read access to all your data. If you choose not to upgrade, your data remains accessible in read-only mode for three months.
-
Is the early adopter rate available to everyone?
Yes - it's available to all customers, not just early adopters. It's the default option presented at the point of payment. It applies to year one only on annual prepay, renewing at the standard rate of £2/employee/month thereafter.
-
What's included in every plan?
All plans include the full EHS® feature set -anonymous-by-default check-ins, real-time score, Ask EHS (what's behind the score), manager dashboards, Awards entry and sector benchmarking. There is no Basic or Pro split, every customer gets everything.
-
How does Awards entry work?
Every new customer is automatically entered into their relevant sector Awards category from their first cycle, including the free trial. There is a minimum participation rate on tokenised channels (email and SMS) required for your entry to be ranked or published. Only the top award is celebrated publicly, there's no public league table of lower performers.
-
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancellation is self-serve from your admin panel. Your account remains fully active until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time on annual plans. After cancellation, full read access to your data is retained for three months.
-
What if we hire more people mid-year?
All annual plans include a 10% headcount buffer - so modest growth triggers no immediate charge. If you exceed the buffer, you'll receive a notification and a true-up charge* is raised at your next quarterly review for the remainder of the annual cycle. Monthly plans update automatically at the next billing date.
*A true-up charge is a mid-cycle billing adjustment to account for the difference between what you originally paid for and what you actually used.
-
How long is the free trial cycle?
Your free trial runs for one full calendar month from the date you set up your account. During that month you have full access to the platform - your people receive check-ins, your EHS® score builds in real time and at the end of the cycle your score is benchmarked against organisations in your sector.
The one-month duration is fixed for the free trial. Once you move to a paid plan, the cycle length is yours to choose - weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on what works for your organisation. You can set your preferred cadence when you convert and change it at any time after that.
